AVAILABILITY OF BOOKS AND SERVICES

Our books are available by direct order from us by telephone,  fax, e-mail, or snail mail.  (Ordering)  We accept payment by check and will invoice.

BOOK SIGNINGS AND EVENTS

Salt Marsh Publications authors are available for book signings, book festivals and events, school readings, and presentations to community groups.  Presentations include: NC Civil War history, Southwest Florida history, Sarasota history, writing from genealogy, writing historical fiction, steps to publication, and writing for children. 

CONSULTING SERVICES

We provide assistance in publishing books and other printed matter.  These activities include: community talks on writing from genealogy, writing historical fiction, self-publishing advice, document re-writes, layouts, copy editing, content editing, and manuscript and illustration formatting for publication.

Capabilities

• Salt Marsh Publications advises new authors on proper manuscript form, editing, query letters, and copyright information before mailing submissions to publishers.
• We also advise authors on steps to publish their own works--ie: manuscript set-up, editing, submission format, illustrations, book covers, print specifications, and printers.
• We help authors set-up their own companies with information on obtaining EIN numbers, ISBN numbers, state sales licenses, tax forms, and marketing.
• We also provide manuscript re-writing--ranging from editing to total ghost writing--and formatting for both print and e-book presentation. 

Initial consultation for any of the above services is free.  Contracted work begins at $25.00/hr. or can be priced by the project.
